Mend is a one-of-a-kind work of art that delves into the emotional landscape of a heart under strain. The background’s dark, wavy blue texture symbolizes the turbulence of our deepest emotions, the storms that threaten to pull us apart. At the center, the heart is shown literally being tugged by strings in multiple directions, each string representing the various forces in life that pull on our heartstrings, be it relationships, societal expectations, or personal struggles.
